Here I will write something about the hardware I use to run Linux on.

MIPS based hardware

ASUS WL-500g Premium

This is my router, wireless accesspoint and USB-printserver at home, I use it with OpenWRT. I bought it, because it was cheaper than a standalone USB-printserver.

Linksys WRT54GS v4

This was my wireless accesspoint, before I bought the Asus. Was very happy with it, but it lacked a USB-port so I couldn't use it as a printserver. Now it serves my parents quite well with DD-WRT.

Linksys WRT54G v2.2

This was the router my wife used in her apartment-sharing community, now it's a toy for tests with OpenWRT and temporary networks like the "Hardware-Meetings" of the Linux User Group, I am a part of.

Hitachi Super SH3 based

HP Jornada 680

The HP Jornada 680 is an H/PC, a format that died a few years ago. I use it with jLiMe.

ARM based hardware

Nokia N900

This is the my mobile phone, a Nokia N900. It runs Maemo, a Linux-distribution natively. No restrictions, no need for risky jailbreaks. A real X-Server, no need for Java or JavaScript crimes, or supressed "AppStores". This hardware is really great, and its software is better suited for my needs than any smartphone, I used, too.

HTC Universal

I run Titchy Linux (with Debian Testing) on this thing. It works quite well, despite reading the battery and the volume of the earphone is to low to really use it as a production phone. Also WiFi is very unstable.

Palm TX

The guys from Hack&Dev provide an image, based on Ångström for the TX. Unfortunatelly there is no working bluetooth or wifi, so it's not real fun yet.

Palm Tungsten T

There is also an image at Hack&Dev, but due to the 16MiB RAM in the T, Linux really is no fun here.

x86-compatible Hardware

T-Online S100 (dead)

This is a settop-box, I use it with Debian Lenny and MMS as mediacenter in the living room. Through its design, wireless capabilities, remotecontrol and the fact that it has no movable parts, the WAF is quite high.

Unfortunatelly it got to hot and died, so I had to throw it away. Now I use my old, modded Xbox with XBMC
